Rachel S. Whitaker is the founding and managing partner of Harper Law, where she oversees firm operations, leads strategic direction, and drives innovation across all practice areas. With over 20 years of experience in complex civil litigation and business law, Rachel has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to high-stakes clients in the healthcare, legal, and professional services industries.

A graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, Rachel began her career clerking for a federal appellate judge before moving into private practice at one of the nation’s top law firms. There, she developed a strong foundation in trial work and corporate defense, eventually leading national litigation teams and negotiating multimillion-dollar settlements.

Since founding Harper Law, Rachel has championed a client-first philosophy and a collaborative culture that has earned the firm multiple industry awards and consistent recognition in regional “Best Law Firms” rankings. She is frequently invited to speak at legal conferences on law firm leadership, risk management, and the evolving role of AI in legal operations.

Rachel is an active member of the American Bar Association and serves on the board of the Midwest Women in Law Leadership Forum.
